I've also launched and relaunched the software, even making a lot of game files to test every time i do it again but I don't know what I'm doing wrong or what I'm supposed to be doing but isn't. I really tried to do everything that you and the other people in forums and yt said but I just can't seem to make it work :( I tried copying the data folder from the sample into my game folder and all it did was turn it into the sample map. The FSM tile pages are all clearly labelled, though, and if need be you can copy the database settings from the included sample project. This is what people refer to as Parallax Mapping. Tilesets need additional setup in the database you'll need to assemble a full tileset from the separate pages. You don't use it as a tileset, you use an image editing program to draw the map from the resources, then import that map into RPG Maker. as event images (event editing window) or actor sprites (Database > Actors). If youre familiar with the software you can skip to timestamps below. Imported map sprites should show up immediately for use in appropriate places, e.g. This video is designed to help someone new to RPG maker MV to import custom tilesets.

I'd suggest opening the project folder via Game > Open Folder, then manually copying the stuff you want into the correct subfolders.

Map sprites go into your project's img/characters folder, tilesets go into img/tilesets. My current project is using those assets.
